The Pre-Owned Vehicle Clerk is responsible for processing all used vehicle sales.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure receipt of contract money from financial organizations
  • Ensure receipt of rebates from financial institutions
  • Maintain journals and dealership records
  • Verify costs for accounting department
  • Oversee accuracy of inventory account for used vehicles
  • Assist in preparing fiscal year-end working papers

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma with additional accounting courses
  • 2-3 years related office experience
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
  • Sound accounting background with a solid understanding of balancing debit/credit entries
  • Familiarity with accounting software or other related computer programs
  • Ability to prioritize workflow
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Frequently manage deadlines
